Food for Others #GiveHealthy Food Drive
Help support people in northern Virginia with healthy food
Food for Others, in partnership with our community, provides free food to our neighbors in need. We operate as an integral part of northern Virginia’s safety net for those needing food when an emergency strikes, and for the growing number of working poor struggling to make ends meet.
We distribute food in 4 ways: through our emergency warehouse distributions (Monday-Friday, 9:30-5:00), at our 16 neighborhood sites that occur on weeknights, in collaboration with our 17 community partners, and through our weekend food program for children at 29 Fairfax County public schools.
Across all programs, we serve an average of 1,800 families per week. Currently, Food for Others is focusing on providing healthier food options to our clients as we’re aware of the adverse health effects of poor nutrition.
This #GiveHealthy food drive is a great way to donate the healthy food that can help our communities. Just select the "Donate" button and purchase the food you would like to give. It will be delivered for you and you'll receive a tax receipt via email.
Thanks for your support!
