Mavericks Football Fights Hunger!
Help support Neighbor to Neighbor and help us win this friendly food fight!
Buy healthy food and it will be delivered for you!
Greenwich Jr United Way has teamed up with Greenwich Youth Football League to raise awareness and food during this year's football season. The team with the most pounds of food at the end of this year's virtual drive will be recognized by Jr United Way at their end of season award ceremony! Mavericks Football hopes to win this friendly competition!
The Greenwich Jr United Way is a youth organization that works with other local organizations to help bring awareness to the human service needs in our town in addition to supporting local organizations and agencies that provide aid to our neighbors.
Did you know that...
-Over 3,100 Greenwich individuals live in poverty!
-7,500 Greenwich citizens classify as the working poor, meaning that they are unable to afford food, shelter and medical care!
-550 Greenwich children have insufficient food!
These statistics are from the 2016 Needs Assessment which is the only statistical portrait of our town. Our goal is to inspire those who can to help those in need and enable Neighbor-to-Neighbor to better support those in need. Your participation will help Neighbor-to-Neighbor provide supplemental food to over 600 local families!
Donating is easy! Select the donate button and then pick out and purchase the food you would like to donate. It will be delivered for you directly to Neighbor-to-Neighbor and you'll receive a tax receipt by email
