The Yale New Haven Health Network is a five location hospital system working to build healthy communities. Getting healthy food to food pantries in their service areas was a key part of their strategy. #Givehealthy partnered with them to set up a digital food drive so that each location could support select food pantries in their local area. To, they have raised more than 12 tons of healthy food (including 37,000lbs “ fresh fruits and vegetables) was raised and delivered to local food pantries.
